I've transacted in multiple properties over the course of the last 20 years. Being 'in the market' locally for well over a year I have interacted with a long list of agents and it's no secret that they vary in temperament, knowledge, and personality. Through that experience I have encountered some stellar examples (few) and those leaving quite a lot to be desired (many). Certainly, one of the key reasons why I entered into this transaction is my trust in Mike. Conversations were straight-forward and I think he was aware enough to recognise that I would not appreciate too much 'salesmanship'. The process was kept simple and mutually respectful, which I appreciate greatly. To be sure, Mike did represent his client and the negotiations did have a small amount of back-and-forth on the price and details, but when it was clear that my final position was in fact my final position then the bartering stopped and I believe the client was informed as such. I would not have been as generous in my review if I felt I was being squeezed for every little concession possible and the deal would likely not have transpired if that was the situation. Following the signing of the offer Mike was very accommodating to make himself available when needed and never impeded any part of the process through to the contract going unconditional. Lastly, Mike's demeanor is always positive and the professionalism with which he conducts himself is commendable. The process of making this purchase has been pleasant and hassle-free and Mike definitely deserves his share of credit in his role as the listing agent.

We found the agent and his staff went out their way in helping us in purchasing the property, very helpful in transferring tenancy agreement from previous agent and making sure the tenants were happy with the new arrangements. Additionally, they help us getting the survey done and recommending one of the best builders/draftsman familiar with our needs for renovation/extension. Highly recommended for real Estate/ property management.
Michael was always very friendly and constantly available during what ended up being a rather long and protracted negotiation - we believed that he was trying to find middle ground between the seller and us and was successful in the end - he was also very proactive in looking for other options for us as well during the process. Prior to meeting Michael we met with several other agents in the South Brisbane area and we found Michael to be the most confident of his peers and by far exceeded our expectations - Not only can he talk the talk he can walk the walk! They met me a 2nd time, at my request, after hours and allowed me to view again before making my decision.
