How to build trust with prospects and stand out from the competition.

Many agents have worked very hard to collect reviews, demonstrate trust and transparency and win Agent of the Year Awards but up until now, those achievements have been hidden from consumers.

After a lot of valuable feedback from agents and consumer research that highlights the need to differentiate agents in order to help vendors select the right agent, we are delighted to announce our new premium profile feature* Agent Recognition.


Agent Recognition is our new product feature that allows agents to showcase specific achievements (their digital assets) on their RateMyAgent profile to the people that matter most, prospective vendors.


For agents, it’s also difficult to stand out amongst their peers online, particularly if everyone has a similar star rating. Displaying agent recognition badges on profiles and throughout the RateMyAgent site allows agents to showcase they are trusted, transparent and provide exceptional and consistent customer experiences.


For consumers (vendors) they can be confident agents with these badges are amongst the most trusted and experienced in their area. It provides a point of difference helping inform their decision on who they will choose to represent them in the sale of their property.


From our research, consumers look for consistent and experienced performers in their area. They are more likely to choose an agent trusted by people just like them, so ensure you’re one of them by taking utlising our Agent Recognition feature.


How does it work?

Three types of achievement badges


Highly Recommended Badge

This agent needs to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction which means the agent has an RMA score in the top 20%. This score is currently above 50% but this will change over time. An agent needs to have sold at least 10 properties over the last 12 months to be eligible.


Trusted Agent Badge

This agent embraces transparency and requests 100% of their vendor reviews. They do not filter their requests and are also open to more critical, constructive feedback.

Note – You must have sold a minimum of 10 properties and requested a vendor review on each property in the last 12 months to be eligible

Bonus tip:  Turn on Automated Review Requests to make sure you never miss a review request again.


Multi-year Award Winner Badge

An agent has won the same award, across multiple years (from 2017), either nationally, or at state, city or suburb level. Does not have to be consecutive years.
