Reasons why you don’t want to miss Awards Night 2020!

Here’s an update from Nick Cody, our MC for the Awards dinner:

2020 Agent of the Year Award nominees have been announced!

Everyone wants to attend RateMyAgent’s Agent of the Year Awards – real estate industry’s most anticipated awards. Not just because you can show your face and bask in the glory of collecting an award on stage but because it’s an event where you can network with fellow agents and let your hair down and celebrate a year well done!

RateMyAgent exists to promote and support great agents in their local community. The Agent of the Year Awards recognises agents and agencies who have been the most consistently recommended by the people that matter – customers who have sold their property (or leased in the case of the property management awards) in the last 12 months.

In the words of Shane Robinson (2019 Agent of the Year winner New Zealand), “people are checking testimonials left right and centre, reviews are the way of the future,” which makes RateMyAgent’s Agent of the Year Awards so impressive. It shakes up the industry by placing greater weight on customer satisfaction and experience rather than sales volume and value.

By winning an award, it validates the work that you do.

“These awards really just make it all worth it. To show that you’re really doing the right thing and it’s paying off at the end of the day.”

– Michelle Mannex, 2019 Rising star winner

Master of ceremonies

This year we’ll be joined by comedian Nick Cody, who takes over the reigns from Lawrence ‘The Moonman’ Mooney. We reckon Nick will do a fine job seeing that at the start of the year, he also took over Mooney’s daily spot on Brisbane Triple M’s The Big Breakfast. There’s no hard feelings, Mooney even describes Cody as the “funniest comedian” in Australia. We guess he has to be, right?!

As well as playing to comedy festivals across the world, Nick has entertained Australian troops in global hot spots including Afghanistan and has had stints on TV shows you may know such as Have You Been Paying Attention, Talkin’ About Your Generation, Hughsey, We Have A Problem and The Project.

A night with Cody is a night with a good mate.
