New Purchase of 4/21 Templeman Place, Midland

Bec Ewen review

This was my first house purchase, and I was referred to Bec by a friend, Bec made the purchase of the house so easy, during my time looking for a house Bec was able to help me with info of the houses i was looking at, and loans that were available and the best for me. As for Bec's communications it was amazing, it was an email every couple of days to see how things were progressing or to let me know of house information, when I finally purchased a house it was phone calls to let me know the next step I needed to complete and when the signing was to be done Bec made arrangements to meet afterhours to complete the paperwork. After the whole process there was more calls to make sure everything was going well. Also, the estate agent was impressed with Bec that the estate agent will be going to recommend Bec to future clients .

Great support through first mortgage process

Ichtus and Katie were invaluable in guiding us through the first homebuying process, so many life delays and an absolutely crazy market at the time, I think we were on and off the process for a bit over a year. We had no property or finance experience and Ichtus basically taught us mortgages and property ownership 101, and was straight onto the best possible strategy using existing and upcoming government schemes. We had previously spoken to another broker and been given a fairly dismal assessment even with the schemes in place, looking back through the various estimates we received from them and Ichtus it became apparent that the first broker just didn't know his trade. If we'd have gone back to him when we were ready rather than Ichtus and Katie we probably wouldn't have secured the value home we did. The home hunting (and now home maintenance) was probably the trickiest part, (how crazy is buying a whole house off a 20min viewing right?) product offerings and financial pre-approval to approval were a breeze. Ichtus discussed our goals and lifestyle and proposed an established bank with reasonable rate, offset and redraw as well as good online functions - I think I spoke to them once to set up some cards via the app and everything else was prefilled and sent to us by his team. We attended one in person for the papers, throughout the whole process we were in contact on the phone and email for quick questions or on Teams after dinner for hashing out the products and IDs. Also while house hunting was great to be able to quickly set up a call for some real estate 101, and the place we ended up securing had some time conditions attached, so his willingness to move fast probably helped lock in our offer. Overall, houses are incredibly stressful endeavours, 100% recommend getting yourself an Ichtus to ensure the 30 year debt part is actually the easiest part.
