Ben was great all the way through our loan application process. Being new to the home buying process, we had very little idea of how the nuts and bolts of home loans worked. Ben guided us through it all. Due to personal circumstances, we were even denied a home loan in the cooling off period (won't be making the same mistakes again!). All of the reading, research and preparation can't prepare you for how stressful buying your first house actually is, so I thank my lucky stars that we had Ben with us every step of the way. From when we needed advice months before we seriously started looking, through to navigating the ins and outs of our contract, Ben was only ever an email or phone call away. Aside from having his expert knowledge, Ben also handled the majority of the paperwork and dealings with the bank and only filtered the important stuff through to us. Which was a blessing in and of itself! I would imagine that if we ever bought a second property, some elements of the process would be easier but I'd still make sure that Ben was our mortgage broker.
