...because apparently it shouldn't be this simple...?! I've been on the hunt for my first development site for a long time, and a re-fi was the only option. I finally found something that worked for my risk profile and mentioned I was getting nowhere with my broker. Then I was introduced to Ben. I had every question answered, in detail. I put my suggestions forward about what I was wanting to do in this first conversation, and Ben had already lined up the lender, borrowing limits, and likely success before we had finished. More questions equalled more answers. Phone calls solved what couldn't be conveyed over email. I was putting decades of PPOR investments and sacrifice on the line, and I was at the point where I could make a very confident offer that the vendor accepted and ... well, we just waited until settlement. For someone to understand what was not a straight-forward development intent, which included another asset's refi, was remarkable IMO. I had brokers leaving me with mono-syllabic email responses to very detailed questions that left me confused about my final position. Ben? Nope. Detailed answers, provided as in-line responses, including options based on previous conversations. End-goal scenarios and position-proofing played out across options - all before putting the offer in. I'm still in shock it was this straight-forward. Ben was clear, concise and knowledgeable, and was able to tailor my finance solution to suit my risk profile and development goals. +1, can recommend, frfr no cap.
