Coming into buying a house, I had incredible anxiety. Coming from a family who are not good with money, and being the first person to ever try to own my own home, I was lying awake at night worrying about the process. Christie not only alleviated my fears, she exceeded my expectations. She worked with my availability to ensure that she could answer all my questions on the phone, and did not complain when she had to draw up various tables to explain in baby steps all my different options. Christie is the most knowledgeable mortgage broker I have ever dealt with. She helped me re-finance my investment property to secure me a better rate which also resulted in me unlocking equity to use towards my first home with my partner. I found Christie to be very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Christie kept in regular communication with me, walking me through the whole pre-approval to approval process for my home loan. This is of course a stressful process, made far less stressful with Christie's guidance and support! I explained that it was important to me to find a lender that was on the more ethical side and more aligned to my personal values. Christie took this on board and presented me with three different lenders that fit this criteria. Whenever I had any questions, no matter how silly, Christie was always there to answer them. I cannot recommend her highly enough. When I moved into my new home she even sent me a lovely note and bottle of wine.
