David Henderson was an absolute game changer when it came to buying a property. He was incredibly helpful and patient, which was needed through my lengthy 2 year search for a property. As a first property purchaser, I had very limited knowledge on how to navigate through the many steps you have to go through to securing a loan. I am very appreciative of the time and effort he always put in and definitely feel in the end that I got an excellent loaning opportunity.

However Dave was brilliant from the start, we had clear intentions of leaving our previous bank as we weren’t happy with the rates and service that we were being provided. With our initial consultations we spoke about what we wanted and what our future goals are, can honestly say it felt like we were mates by the end of it, and we had someone on our side. He came back with a large range of options that all suited our situation and then we chose one from there. I was interested in a property in central Victoria and had what would normally be enough for a deposit and could easily support a loan, but found that because the house was off-grid, it needed a larger deposit. I tried all sorts of possibilities but got nowhere, so gave up. Then the spooky bit. I dreamed that I saw the place under offer on a real estate site. When I awoke I was like Gary Oldman in The 5th Element. "Disappointed!" (This has to be said in the southern psychopath accent Oldman adopted for the movie). I checked the internet. It was still for sale. (My dream was totally realistic, I can still see the property photo with the under offer banner - my subconscious was trying to say something). I thought I would have another go and was referred by the agent to David at AQUA. He took it on, shopped it round and provisionally got one taker. He put through the application, we waited for the bank to approve it, then value the property (it was within 3% of the offer price). By the time settlement came around I had all I needed to finalise the deal, it went through and I'm getting all these emails from the bank, thanking me for choosing them for my home loan. Which only goes to show. Got a problem situation? David will have a go with persistence and good humour, keeping you in the loop the whole time.
