I found Laz through a personal recommendation from a friend after asking around both friends and estate agents. Due to life changes, here I was - a 52 yo single woman looking to enter the property market on my own. That was anxiety provoking as I had a concern the banks would not consider me particularly as my permanent employment was only recently acquired. But I needn’t have worried. Laz was pretty much with me the whole way through - from the commencement of looking at properties to my final settlement. This included an initial determination of what was a realistic price for me to look at + loan options, before even starting my house hunt. So with my figure I then headed off to inspections and found I couldn’t get a property I wanted for the lending amount we considered reasonable. So back to Laz I go for a review as I had saved more money and Laz did the figures again. What I loved was he didn’t beat around the bush and it wasn’t about just getting a loan for me and that’s it: ‘see ya later!’. It was about getting me a loan I could reasonably manage while still have a life and helping me understand about the loan types, how they worked etc. As soon as I was going too high Laz was comfortable telling me my absolute limit and this was SO refreshing! So after finding a place it was all systems go. Everything goes smoothly - until settlement is delayed because of an issue at the sellers end. To my surprise Laz had been following the settlement and even though his job was done once finance was secured eons ago, he was still taking time to make sure everything went through. The settlement delay went on for 3 weeks with Laz staying in regular touch right until the end. Through it all he was incredibly generous with his time and knowledge and always professional and ever so efficient. I have already recommended him to others and will continue to do so. At the core of it, Laz is a good, honest person and a great broker. Thankyou Laz, so much!
I first met Laszlo Szollosi to discuss a potential off plan purchase that didn't eventuate but it was a no brainer to get back in contact with him when I committed to purchasing an established property in Freo. I found his market knowledge excellent and his advice thoughtful and very useful for me to make considered decisions. For the property in Freo we were under some time pressure to organise finance but nothing was too much trouble and communication was excellent as he talked me through the process step by step and gave me plenty of options when it came to choosing a home loan.
