Patrick was available for all our queries (which were many) as the process of renewing our mortgage and shopping around was quite new to us. Our experience of working with Patrick and Di has been purely positive. They organised the transfer of an existing mortgage to a new bank and the setting up of a construction loan for a new property. The initial meeting was conducted remotely as it suited us. Happy with the options and advice provided. Uploaded documents via a portal. Visited the offices once to sign the papers, which could have also been done by post. Once everything was in place Patrick and Di handled everything. For the construction loan in particular I would send invoices from the builder through and they would be processed immediately with Di stepping in to handle issues or fast track issues. I really don't know how or why you'd do it yourself. They made the whole experience of transferring a mortgage and building a house that much more bareable. My first mortgage was set up by a different broker and I can say the experience was chalk and cheese in favour of Pat and Di.
