Going Above & Beyond to Get the Deal Done

We had an extremely challenging experience with the finance side of our SMSF property purchase, and Jay Morosi was instrumental in getting it across the line. The application became particularly difficult when the mortgage company became stuck waiting for a document that is not even issued in NSW. What could have resulted in significant delays and potentially put the entire purchase at risk required a lot of persistence and coordination, and Jay went far beyond what we would normally expect from a mortgage broker. Rather than simply passing the issue back to us, Jay took ownership of the problem. He escalated the matter within the finance company, investigated the requirements with his own tax agent, worked closely with our tax accountant, and even coordinated with our property lawyers to find a practical solution. His attention to detail, persistence and willingness to involve everyone necessary made a huge difference. He kept pushing until the issue was resolved and ultimately helped us get the finance completed successfully. What really stood out to us was that Jay didn't treat this as just another application. He genuinely took responsibility for getting the outcome, even when the problem was outside his direct control. His ability to coordinate between the lender, tax professionals, accountants and lawyers was exceptional. We have now worked with Jay on several property transactions, and this experience reinforced why we continue to trust him with our finance. When things become complicated, Jay doesn't give up — he finds a way forward.
