I first met Robert in 2005 when I was buying my first home. I was very much the novice first home buyer and I was very happy to have him as my mortgage broker. He negotiated a great deal for me and helped me navigate the First Home Buyers scheme, as it was then. Robert has been my broker for 20 years as I purchased our second home, convincing my to keep my first property as an investment. Then, when we moved to Sydney, Robert helped secure the finance for our current property in 2019 with a split loan with the larger amount fixed at 2.19%. When the fixed term period was coming to an end he was there to advise me how he could help again. He did. My existing mortgage bank offered an interest rate of over 7% for my existing loan. Robert found a lender with a variable principle and interest rate loan with the features I wanted at less than 6%. During those 20 years Robert was always willing and able to provide sound advice and negotiate better than average interest rates and features as I refinanced a couple of times.
