We got to know Cinch Loans through a different company, and our first conversation with Suvidh was amazing. However, when it came to getting finance approval for our home, Suvidh delegated it to one of his senior broker team members (understandable), and they were not up to the expectation. This review is for them for the most part. - They lacked attention to detail in every aspect. - They couldn't provide sensible calculations, which was stressful for us. One day it would be a 150k down payment required and another day it was 100k. - They confused us with some other customer and provided incorrect details. - We had to push them to provide an update constantly. - They speak as if they are doing good for us when we could observe that they were distracted the entire time. I hope Suvidh can take this feedback and provide appropriate training to his team member. Amidst all this, our feeling was we lost a very good broker for Cinch Loans. We won't be proceeding with them hereafter.

The calculations explained/shown to us were speculative till the very end and we never knew how much we were supposed to pay from our pockets leading to constant stress and worry (Initially the amount was around 150k and we ended up paying around 100k. As a customer, I would expect my mortgage broker to break numbers down so its easy for us to understand but it was not the case. Numbers were always explained in your own format which was difficult for us to follow despite several attempts. 2. Extreme delays in getting loan approved. 3. Communication could have been better. During times of stress, Priya did not provide updates. 4. We received the loan documents of someone else just because my wife shares the same first name with this other person. It has been over 3 months since the incident happened and the mortgage broker hasn't reached out to us asking to delete the document as it contains important information. The mortgage broker could be completely unaware of this incident but makes us think that these documents should be handled very carefully always. Sharing all of this here so it could be used as a learning :)
