Overview

Beach Shack Chic

Tucked into a sought-after pocket of Rye, this exceptional coastal residence is nestled among mature Moonah trees, about a 7-minute walk from the Tyrone foreshore. It delivers privacy, lifestyle, tranquillity and seclusion: relaxed beach living in a natural bush setting. Whitewashed floorboards flow through the kitchen, living room and hall, giving the home a light-filled, laid-back coastal character. The large living room gathers around a wood fireplace in winter, while the dining area opens to the outdoor area for summer entertaining. The kitchen is generous in size, with marble benchtops and splashbacks. Miele appliances include an oven, speed oven and induction cooktop. Upstairs, three bedrooms sit alongside the living spaces. The master bedroom enjoys a leafy outlook and its own ensuite. The main bathroom and en-suite offer a day-spa calm, with natural textures and an invitation to slow down. A spiral staircase leads down to a spacious gym, cellar and laundry. A separate front room also sits on the lower level. Established gardens with indigenous plantings frame the home, bringing birdlife, shade and privacy, while cool breezes drift through on warm summer days. Walk to the foreshore and Rye village, with the Peninsula's thermal springs a short drive away.
