Overview

Architect designed Queenslander/Family Estate or Wedding/Retreat Potential!

What a pleasure it is to bring to market 'Mountview" A gorgeous country retreat reimagined by Architect John Mainwaring on 22 acres. The property features all architect designed buildings with no expense spare to quality and design: * Original Queenslander, Main House - 4 bedrooms & 3 bath house with large inground pool. * Guest House - 2 bedrooms bathroom, fully self contained * Large work studio with 3 phase power + kitchenette * 20 sqm cellar Built to European Cave standards * Large shed with 3 phase power * A separate 25 sqm workshop space near the lake The original 1890's Queenslander was painstakingly deconstructed by the Architects and re-built, maintaining the aesthetics of the old and whilst reinventing the design with contemporary components. Part of the redesign process included adding a two-story wing that integrates seamlessly with the original structure accented with a modern element. What a great outcome the architects achieved, not only do you feel like you are walking into a home but an actual piece of artwork. The views from the main residence overlook the Blackall Ranges and pool, then onto a lovely wooded grove that leads to the 100-metre frontage to the Mary River. The guest house located privately 50 metres away from the main house has high ceilings and bespoke features. It is fully self contained with 2 bedrooms,1 bath, living, kitchen and laundry. The owners have successfully ran it as an Air BNB. This property also has great potential asa retreat or possible wedding venue STCA. The Studio is light filled, with timber floors and louvred windows approx 45 sqm again with lots of details the architect designed to enhance the environment. This has a kitchenette and could possibly be turned into another living space The fourth outbuilding designed by Mainwaring is the split level workspace/shed, meticulously designed with large windows, natural light and high ceilings. This is another fantastic space. It has 3 phase power and also a large generator if power goes off The lower level has power and a large storage room as well as a "cave" wine cellar, built in traditional European style, with a concave arched brickwork that can accommodate 1000 bottles of wine. Whilst the upper level approximately 10 metres by 11 metres would make the perfect Yoga room, artist's studio or as the ultimate "man cave." The property itself is gently undulating just under 8.8 hectares (21 acres) it has a wonderful pasture land and easy-care garden, with irrigation system in place as well as a huge landscaped lake and 100 metres of Mary River frontage. This is a must inspect property to be truly appreciated, as this level of workmanship and design is truly amazing! - 7 mins to Kenilworth and 25 Minutes to Eumundi and the Bruce Hwy Please contact Linda Shore-Perez for further information on 0427 378 687.
