Great Experience

We had a terrific experience dealing with Alison, Pat and the team. The things that I will remember the most is her calm approach to the whole process and a sense of being in control. I'm a sales professional and in the process of buying our next house came across a whole lot of agents that made me cringe. The MB team was a breath of fresh air! Alison's approach is confident, her presence is humble rather than in your face and you feel you can have a real conversation with her. A few times through the sale process we wanted some honest feedback on certain aspects and we felt we got it. Not the usual over hyped "it's all brilliant", rather we received considered and valuable feedback from which we made changes and in some cases did less than we had planned. They are REAL people and you genuinely feel as ease working with them, we observed Alison and Pat at one of the opens and it was clear that they related well to prospective buyers from all walks of life. By no means was the sale an easy one, we had a short marketing campaign and came up against Christmas and a rate rise so there was no easy slam dunk. Alison and the team worked hard to get the right buyers to the auction and with Vic managing a tough crowd well, we achieved a sale price that was above our realistic expectation and spot on the range that we discussed with Alison. Our opinion is that the McConnell Bourne team is very professional and delivers a great service, Alison as our agent was highly professional, a great communicator and provided the kind of honest councel that is not always a hallmark of the profession.
