Alexander Scott, the man who laid the sound foundation of the firm that was to become a household name in rural Victoria – more especially throughout Gippsland and the Mornington Peninsula – was a hard-working, down-to-earth son of the soil. With this background he steered the company for fifty years, and then his son, Stewart Scott, took over the reins and guided it for a further 53 years through the company’s centenary in 1986. Stewart continued as Managing Director until his death in 1988. 103 years of continuous management by father and son. Continued on by our current Directors, Tom Gibson (4th Generation) and Mr Greg Price. It is a unique record of an unbroken family association.
The Venus Bay office was proudly opened 21 years ago by Robb and Lorraine Lawrie. Since retiring in 2014, the business is now owned and operated by Dan and Sue Lawrie, who are dedicated to ensuring that Robb and Lorraine’s business values and overall professional standards are carried on into the future. Sue and Dan take great pride in offering their clients a service and experience that is second to none in the area.
