•Dan’s willingness to source local trades to look at different parts on the house we purchased made the process of building inspections and associated follow ups very easy to manage. He was always very kind, we knew we could reach out to him at any time and he’d always answer and be happy to help.
I expected Dan to be a positive influence late in the sale process when the potential buyers used a bricklayer to respond to findings of a building inspection and structural engineer's report. The bricklayer's quote did not relate to the assessments of the professionals. From the professional assessments I had expected that the required work on the western wall could be done within a day. The bricklayer's quote covered three sides of the house, made no reference to the west wall and put a price of $30k without sufficient detail. Dan simply supported the bricklayer's quote. Dan then told me to send negotiations for the price through the conveyancer. I have never known an estate agent to quit the process at that point. Dan was not my agent when it mattered. I dropped the price for the house by $18k. I worked through the conveyancer.
