I remember the day Suzie first walked through my front door.
That was 18 years ago, here in Flagstone. Back then the kids were small, racing down my hallway, filling my four bedrooms with laughter, school bags, and the kind of noise that turns a house into a home.
Weekends meant the doors thrown open, the big 4,785m² yard alive with backyard cricket, bikes on the grass, and endless cannonballs into the pool. Later, Suzie added solar heating, so the swimming never really had to stop, even when the air cooled down.
Suzie cared for me over the years. She repainted my walls, added air-conditioning to the master bedroom, and gave the bathroom a thoughtful facelift, always making sure I felt refreshed and ready for whatever stage of life her family was in.
The kids eventually grew up, their footsteps a little less frequent in my hallway. These days it’s mostly Suzie and her two cats, stretching out in sunny spots and wandering across the lawn that once hosted so many adventures.
My name is Rivora. I am a place of calm, space, and memories.
Now she’s preparing for a new chapter on the coast, chasing salty air and a different rhythm of life. It’s bittersweet watching her go, but I know what comes next. Because homes like me aren’t just built, we’re filled with life.
Rivora still has many more stories left to tell.
