I am The Haven and I have been waiting for you!
I was built in the late 1980s, brick by brick, on a quiet street where the days move gently and neighbours still wave as they pass. I have stood here for decades, watching children grow taller, gardens change with the seasons, and life unfold in the most beautiful, ordinary ways.
For the past 11 years, I have been loved deeply.
I have held birthday parties where laughter spilled out onto the lawn, Christmas mornings where wrapping paper covered my floors, and quiet nights where the lights were low and the world felt safe. I have listened to long conversations in the kitchen, footsteps rushing down the hallway, and the comforting silence of people who belong together.
My backyard has been a place of freedom. A big, open space where kids ran barefoot, pets stretched out in the sun, and weekends felt endless. There is room here to kick a ball, to build cubby houses, to plant trees that will grow alongside your memories. I have always known how special that space is.
Inside, I have done what homes do best, I have looked after my people. From warm family dinners to slow mornings with coffee, I have been the backdrop to life's moments, both big and small. Even the shed has had its purpose, powered, spacious, and ready for projects, passions, and plans yet to come.
What I love most about where I stand is the community around me. This is a neighbourhood that feels like one. Quiet streets, friendly faces, and a sense of belonging that can not be manufactured, only lived. I have seen neighbours become friends, and friends become family.
Now, it is time for a new chapter.
My current family is leaving with full hearts, grateful for the years we shared, hopeful for the memories you will create next. They have filled me with love, and I am ready to pass that feeling on to you.
