Why Andrew Crotty won our business... and why I'd recommend him again and again.

All real estate agents are crooked. Thieves and liars one step up from used car salesmen. Everybody knows that. When Lyn and I chose to sell our double-storey Victorian terrace in Richmond, we applied two criteria to evaluate real estate agencies: trust in the relationship, and to maximise our return. We asked the top 3 real estate agencies to pitch for our business and, by a narrow margin, Andrew Crotty from Biggin & Scott won. His enormous passion for our business tipped the scales. Andrew said he would do a lot of things. Made a lot of promises. Said he would sell our home for us. And kept every one of those promises. He kept us fully informed of what steps had happened recently, what steps were coming up, and how it would affect us. Rang me after every Open For Inspection, gave us an overview of who attended, and their level of interest. Showed up - punctually, on time - to every weekly meeting at our home. Always smiling, courteous and professional. His real strengths is people skills. I recognise that he's working on our behalf, and so the experience should be "first class". You expect that. But his capacity to put you at ease, to inform you of issues good or bad, is exquisite. He is highly diplomatic yet able to speak easily with people easily at any level. In truth, things didn't always go the way we wanted them to. Nothing ever does - that's life. But his relationship with people, his gentle persuasion and well-intended stance, meant that others understand he is on their side, willing good outcomes to happen. In the end, we sold our home for a very good price. Unfortunately those hoary old chestnuts about real estate agents being cheats and liars took a beating. Andrew Crotty is a person of high integrity who delivers upon his commitments. And he gained the outcome we wanted. It would be an honour - both professionally and personally - to work with Andrew again. Regards, James Glenn and Lyn Richardson ex-Richmond
