Listening well and making you feel comfortable while delivering a great price.

I had the situation of a worn-out old house. Last renovated in the 70’s and needing a lot of love. I felt everybody would see the problems and this would be detrimental to the sales price. I interviewed four local real estate agent’s and one with a record of selling houses all over Melbourne, inner suburbs, east, north, west, and south. Julie from Biggin and Scott Richmond, a local agent, was able to listen and understand me and my situation. Then she was able to put forward a plan that was designed for my situation, not a cookie-cutter approach. Julie was able to clearly articulate the plan so that I knew what was going to happen, what and why she had chosen each activity and why in my circumstance we would not be doing certain sales activities. Julie made it clear why this approach would get me the highest price. Julie was very open to any suggestion I made but was willing to stand up for what she knew would get me the highest price. Julie attended every open for inspection herself and was there on the day of the auction. Russel was a great auctioneer who knew how to get the best price from the market on that day. Russel has worked with Julie for many years and they have a great working relationship. The house sold during the auction. I got well above the reserve identified by all the agents I had interviewed. Having Julie as my real estate agent made me feel comfortable that everything was being done throughout the whole process and I would get the highest possible price for my property.
