"We moved to this truly magical place to connect with nature, wildlife, the elements and to live our mountain life above the clouds. This side of the mountain is especially precious because you can see all the way out to the coast, where the lights sparkle at night. Every time we turn for home and take in the stunning view we say, "We're in paradise!". This cottage has certainly been our slice of paradise, a haven away from the world. We've spent many days working from the sun-drenched deck, looking over the rainforest, surrounded by beautiful birds. We fell in love with this house immediately, captivated by its charm and the promise it held to grow and nurture our young family. If you like edible gardens, the soil here is rich for planting. We have baked the plentiful mulberries into pies, spent many summers making batches of basil pesto and guacamole, and brewed sleepy tea from the lavender. Gardenia Cottage has been an incredibly special place for us, and we are excited that it may become a home for your own new memories."
