Nestled away, this beautiful home really took me by surprise! As I pulled off Boundary Road, into the 'North Ridge Estate' you start to follow a windy road before the first homes pop up on either side. Navigating across the estate was easy and definitely feels secluded. A great place for the kids to ride their bikes or play out the front of your home, which is great because you can still keep your eyes on them!
I pulled up to this beautiful home and noticed immediately some stand out selling points. Whilst there is plenty of parking on the driveway, a double gate by the side of the home gives you secure side access. Perfect if you're a tradie looking to get your Ute off the road at night or someone that might have a boat. The garage is a double and can fit two cars whilst acting as a handy place for extra storage.
As you walk in, the home opens up with the entrance leading into the lounge. It's definitely big enough to fit everyone around the TV for film night, or to put the kids whilst you escape in the open plan kitchen/dining/living area. It's here, I would probably spend most of my time! Opening out to the covered alfresco area, the garden is littered with sub-tropical plants and trees, which sets the tone to a relaxing Sunday with a glass of wine. Definitely an ideal place to escape!
The bedrooms are a good size, and due to the layout of the home, the accommodation can be revised to suit your lifestyle. Much like the current owners have done by using one of the bedrooms as a study.
The wildlife around the area, definitely sets this home apart! There is a beautiful short walk into North Lakes, which this estate backs on to and it gives you the opportunity to let your dog stretch its legs through the stunning parks close by.
'What the Owner Says'
Since Gwen and I moved in 8 years ago, we have loved living here! It's quiet, surrounded by wildlife but it still close to shops if I have to duck out for some milk. We are only moving as we want to downsize. We are going on holiday more as we look to retire and thought now would be a good time to move up to the Sunshine Coast. We will be sad to say goodbye to our home but now it's time for someone else to enjoy it as we have.
