A Skilful, dedicated lovely lady with tireless persistence!

If you use any real-estate agent other than Mel to sell your house you are -well, all I can say is that you have missed out on using the absolute best. Our beautiful but unique property had been on the market for a year before we were introduced to Mel by a friend. Skeptical at first, as we were over the 'we love your house' comments with no exchange of contracts after 1 year! By that time our house had been discounted and discounted to more than 200k below the original asking price. It came to a head when we were told to drop the price to 1M from 1.2M. We sacked that agent - a local expert! So along came Mel - well wasn't she a breath of fresh air amongst agents. We kept saying 'If we had $1 for every person who came to see our house and said "We love it", we'd be so rich we wouldn't need to sell it!' We were once told it wouldn't sell as there was no room for a caravan! REALLY - very narrow minded. Mel laughed at this ridiculous comment and proceeded to prove all wrong! She is clever and kind. We had so many special things we wanted to say about our house that we knew the right people would want to know. So she listened to these, saw value in these and that is what helped her sell. BECAUSE SHE GENUINELY LISTENED AND ACTED ON THIS INFORMATION. The other thing about Mel - you can talk to her anytime. Do you know how many times I have had a secretary from another company ring me, or other agents never return our calls. We were so jaded and so over real estate agents! Those with arrogance and disrespect and lack of knowledge or interest. I'm sure you've met them too! But Mel worked tirelessly, I mean really gave it her all. We would speak at all hours, any day, because she wanted this sale - yet never once did she ask us to drop our price for she believed in the property. THIS WAS THE BIGGEST DIFFERENCE - she had the experience, patience and real skill to know how to find a buyer and hold onto them, because she knows how to engage a buyer! She is perfect.
