average experience but successful sale

Review based in Maree White who was the primary agent for the sale. Overall the experience with Maree was average. Pros: House sold within asking range very promptly. Cons: Always seemed like Maree was in a rush, didnt really spend much time at all explaining the process conducted the contract signing very rushed and last minute. We advised Maree we still will be occupying the site during inspections and have pets so last minute inspections would be hard and preference was to have all inspections scheduled or pre-advised. This did not happen. Multiple occaisions Maree sprung last minute inspections on us giving us no time to prepare the home or transport our dogs to alternative locations. We made it very clear to Maree that if she did this she wouod have to ensure our dogs are kept inside the garage away from the clients, we also advised on one occaision she may need to vaccum the property due to the pet hair and her not giving us enough notice to get to the house to clean it. Initially she said this was all fine and seemed totally willing to do this as it was her that organised such last minute inspections. Until one occaision where she called me to complain about doing this and said “the house smells like dog” and “i dont have time for this” - I found this to be quite rude and condescending as this was all a result of her planning. Maree also failed to engage accurately to conduct the contract of sale as she did not advise my conveyancor or myself to to this. Ultimately we are happy the property sold promptly but definitely rook to inrpove marees overall approach. A lot of times it felt as though maree saw communicating as a chore and was always rushed.
