With 20 years of experience of using Chevron First National across a portfolio of 4 - 8 rental properties I am qualified to comment on this agencies performance as a rental agent. Remission of rents is always on time. Bookkeeping is good with annual statements for tax purposes provided on time and monthly summary of expenses provided on time. Selection of tenants has been generally superb with only one bad experience in 20 years. They have good data and information sources on the performance of tenants and advise on tenancy applications. Management of properties is good with regular inspection and follow up on maintenance items with tenants and owner also good. They have a good selection of people to provide services such as electrical, plumbing, air conditioning and general maintenance as well as for advising on the upgrade or replacement of capital items. Payment of rents on time has never been a problem. Assessments of rental values and advice to owner has always been first rate, on the mark and timely. They are friendly but direct in their assessments. They have a detailed knowledge of local government requirements, safety hazards and legal issues that protects you in relation to legal issues of owning rental properties. In summary the agency has good communication skills, good organisation, is detail oriented and keeps my properties well maintained and my tenants happy. As such they contribute to maintaining and improving the value of my rental properties. I highly recommend them.
