▶One of the reasons we engaged Clarke and Humel in the first instance was because of how hard Cherie fought for our business. Whilst other agents put in standard pitches Cherie went the extra mile gathering extensive data to support her proposal and we felt we wanted someone like Cherie in our corner during a falling property market. During the campaign Cherie demonstrated her tenacity and drive again and again. She conducted countless private inspections and built strong relationships with all the lead interested parties, even visiting them at home when necessary. She brought her architect skills to the fore working with two parties on how they could overcome room layout challenges for them. In terms of communication we never went more than a few days without getting a comprehensive update on market positioning, lead parties and what was needed from us. On the day of the auction Cherie had a clear strategy pre-agreed and stuck to it despite the mounting pressure to close the deal, never once putting pressure on us to shift from our pre-agreed baseline for selling. As a direct result of her grit, determination, relationship skills and flair for selling we achieved a selling price that we felt was the absolute best that could be achieved at the point in the property cycle.
