A much-loved 1970s classic with character, space and exciting possibilities!
Stepping onto the property, you are immediately greeted by the nostalgic charm of a beautifully preserved home since 1974. Lovingly maintained and offered by just its third owner, this delightful home captures the warmth and personality of a bygone era. Long before Ferry Road evolved into the bustling lifestyle and coffee hub locals love today, it was home to the historic Southport Bricks kilns, where this home's timeless cream bricks were locally sourced and fired over half a century ago. Featuring a classic basketweave tiled veranda and distinctive geometric scroll balustrade, the home proudly celebrates its 1970s heritage while embracing the comforts of modern living.
Inside the property you will discover the original beautiful hardwood timber flooring, four generously sized bedrooms, a spacious open plan living area and a family size updated kitchen and modern bathroom.
Adding to the home's versatility is an oversized multipurpose room, formerly the double garage. With its impressive high ceilings and generous proportions, this flexible space offers exciting possibilities for a creative studio, home workspace or additional living space.
Outside, the established backyard is a delightful retreat, complete with orange trees and a herb garden. It's the perfect setting for children to play, weekend gardening or simply enjoying a morning coffee surrounded by greenery.

Why my sellers love living here:
"There is so much we have loved about living here! While we know we'll be sad to leave, with the kids getting older, we feel it's time for a new chapter.
The large multipurpose area has been an absolute favourite. We've used it for everything from table tennis, a private sauna and a music room to sports practice and storage - and even as a place to escape for a little privacy! It's also been perfect for hosting parties for both the kids and ourselves, and it will certainly be one of the things we miss most.
Being able to walk to so many places has been another huge bonus. As an active family, we've loved heading down the hill to the Brickworks for a coffee and a browse before making our way back up, tired but happy. Closer to home, Ward Park has been a favourite for its little playground and space to kick a footy.
We'll also really miss the convenience of the nearby tram. We both work in the Health and Knowledge Precinct, so being able to enjoy a brisk 10-minute walk to the tram, pay just 50 cents, and arrive at work within minutes has been priceless.
And finally, our wonderful neighbours have made this home all the more special. We hope the new owners enjoy this lovely home and all it has to offer as much as we have"Disclaimer: We have in preparing this information used our best endeavours to ensure that the information contained herein is true and accurate but accept no responsibility and disclaim all liability in respect of any errors, omissions, inaccuracies or misstatements that may occur.
