Pavilion-style living with a tropical garden escape

Pretty from the street and pure resort at the rear, this c1900 double-fronted cottage has been transformed into a light-filled pavilion-style family home in one of Balmain's most coveted harbourfront pockets. A perfect blend of party and paradise, interiors opens out to a resort-style backyard with a sun-drenched pool framed by soaring palms. With restored period features as a nod to the past and every contemporary luxury, this is Balmain living at its best. - Double-fronted with a sunny NW facing tropical garden - Central hallway, ornate ceilings, polished Kauri boards - 4 large bedrooms with built-ins, mezzanine home office - Sunlit parents' retreat with a dressing room and ensuite - Pivot windows frame lush garden outlooks, dressing room - Lounge with restored fireplace, double-height internal void - Dream Calacatta Rose kitchen, monolithic island bench - Smeg gas range cooker, Bosch dishwasher, ample storage - Well-zoned living and dining spaces, American Oak floors - Bi-fold windows and doors for a seamless in/outdoor flow - Parisi-appointed bathroom, separate internal laundry - Lined attic storage, ducted reverse air, designer lighting - Harbour parkland at the end of the street, 400m to the ferry

Experienced, excellent market knowledge, honest

We bought our house off Sam 16 years ago and were delighted when she said "yes" she'd sell it for us. Sam is the upmost professional. She knows her market, is honest with her advice and feedback, and is professional in every sense of the world. Most importantly, as we moved interstate, she managed every aspect of the sale (from handymen to painters to styling) and went above and beyond what we had expected and hoped for. She is an excellent communicator. We were very happy with how she handled the sale - she got us a great price - and know she had our best interests at heart right up until settlement. I'd highly recommend her and hopefully will use her again in the future!
