Grand Daylesford Mansion

One of Daylesford’s grand mansions, Mount Stuart House (Circa 1860) is set on a magnificent corner block of 1507 sq/m in the church precinct, only steps away from everything you love in this world famous spa town. This home is for those looking for a business opportunity with proven success or those looking to make this historic property their own private getaway. Built in 1860, this imposing house has had a varied history originally built as a grand family home. Later uses include a hospital for repatriated soldiers during WW1, and then as a maternity hospital. Further features include hydronic heating, 3100ltr water tanks for the garden, vegetable garden and double lock-up garage. Enthusiastic and keen !

Whilst our local agents in Daylesford had some trouble making time to travel the 100 metres from their offices to see me to discuss the sale of my house, when I contacted Kim, she immediately jumped in her car, and drove from the City to Daylesford. She was professionaly presented, enthusiastic about the property, and already knowledgable about the local market. She followed our meeting up with a phone call, and an impressive set of proposals concerning the sale. I reasoned that somebody willing to put a considerable effort into achieving a listing might apply a similiar effort when it came to selling the property. This proved to be the case. I would unhesitatingly recommend Kim, and would use her again if the need arose.
