Holiday home sale

We were not in a particular hurry to sell this holiday home so the time from listing to settlement was suitable for us. Denise Howe kept us updated through the (slow period of) winter. Come spring Denise secured 3 conditional offers, the best of which we accepted. We live 98Km from the property and Denise advised us of a couple of things that needed attention. A minor one that we arranged for the park manager to resolve, and another that we visited the property to investigate. Our diagnosis identified that the reverse-cycle air-con was operating correctly though not responding to the remote control. Denise went beyond her obligations as the selling agent by acquiring, installing and testing the replacement remote control which we would otherwise have had to do ourselves. All is now fine. We were not flustered in any way during the selling campaign and after the 39 years we have owned the property we hope the new owners will have as much fun as we did as our family grew up. Denise knows Seabird well and suggested a realistic sale price which was achieved. She was a pleasure and knowledgeable agent to work with.
