•Would not recommend buying anything from this agency or agent. We were provided an inflated CMA by this agency on the investment property we bought, this was confirmed by 2 other agencies and one of Discover Real Estate’s own employees AFTER we purchased the property. The agent would not respond to basic information or queries and after we bought the property the agent became rude and abrupt, unprofessional and then refused to respond to anything at all. We moved the property over to a different agency after the unprofessional experience we had with this agency and have had no issues at all since. For an investor I would definitely check with all other agencies in the area before taking this agencies advice on rent return as the inflated CMA provided was ridiculous compared to what we got and we have lost a lot of money based the figures they provided. Be careful of hidden issues with properties listed that are not disclosed as this ended up costing us lower rent return and thousands in additional repairs even after the usual inspections. A due diligence clause and numerous additional inspections such as plumbing, electrical and construction would be a good idea on top of the building and pest inspection if choosing to deal with this agency or agent, definitely don’t rely on the agent telling you anything reliable or realistic about the property or give an even slightly realistic rent return CMA as we experienced. Interstate or non local buyers/investors should certainly be wary in my opinion. If I could give a negative star review I certainly would. We weren’t offered a RateMyAgent review link from this agency after purchase and it looks like only the potential good reviews are only offered an opportunity to comment on their experience with this agency in my opinion.
My experience with my buyer was less than expected as the buyer was herself a professional real estate agent. The offer was submitted, then a counter offer was submitted at a considerably lesser amount and then came the complaints. 3 building inspections, a contract cancellation, a contract renewal and still more complaints later....the house was sold. Angela was extremely patient and professional throughout to both parties. She kept calm and the sale went through at the original contract price. This is testament to her professional and honest outlook to her work as a real estate agent to both the seller and the buyer. Angela has a wealth of local sales knowledge and is well regarded in the community.
