There are not enough landmark homes being built in our country town, timeless country homes, reeking of generations of summer cricket games played on the 'big lawn' under shady trees, a beautiful entrance where every 20 years or so a neighbour's boy has approached, nervously courting, sun bathed daybeds who've introduced classic novels to a century of readers, burnished solid benches that have provided basis for the preparation of just so many Sunday roasts, homes so well known by the community they've no longer use for an address. Homes whose timelessness generates such excitement in visiting children. Such timeless homes were the inspiration for 'Murrup House' at 16 Saddle Court in Mansfield.
