This light filled steel frame home, affectionately known as 'the bird house', is very comfortable and ready for you to move in straight away. What a great place to call home, even if it's only on the weekends and holidays!
While it is essentially two storey, you only need to walk up a very small number of steps into the house at the rear, and the elevation means that there are lovely views from the front verandah, living area and both bedrooms.
The big games room on the ground floor could be used for additional accommodation, with it's own toilet and basin. Guests can have a shower or bath upstairs or just walk down the road and jump in the lake or river! Speaking of guests, the local native birds (including the stunning parrots that posed for our photos) are regular visitors to the property.
One of the great features of this property is the nice wide driveway leading up to a fabulous 14m x 6m shed and workshop, with ample room to store your boat, motorbikes and other important equipment. There's also excellent storage in the 9m x 3.6m garage on the ground floor of the house.
But we just love 'the vibe'. It's not fancy but it is clean, comfortable and very low maintenance with a sturdy concrete slab and steel frame construction. Brick veneer on the ground floor and cement sheet cladding on the first floor mean you don't need to paint or replace rotten timbers. You can spend your time on all the fun stuff on offer in this amazing part of the world...or just sit in the sun on the verandah and admire your new feathered friends!
