•Mike came to us highly recommended by a neighbour in Berrima whose house he had just sold for them. However, before finally choosing an agent we obtained cost and sale strategies from 2 other agents. We are impressed by Mike’s candid and professional approach to selling the property, which we were handling on behalf of the elderly owners who were now in an aged care facility. After the reference from our neighbour and being impressed by the sale strategy, we engaged Mike at Drew Lindsay/Sotheby’s to manage the sale for us. Mike understood our rather unusual circumstances and tailored the sale strategy to suit. Mike is a strong communicator, starting from being a good listener; we quickly established a rapport. Over the past few years, the market in Berrima has been very slow with up to 12 homes on the market at any one time. Responding to these conditions Mike opened the property for regular weekend inspections and suggested a variety of marketing campaigns, including targeting key market demographics, individual clients on the firm’s books and sale price revision. Mike always called us to provide feedback after the weekend inspections and special openings for other clients. We always felt that Mike managed the sale strategy in our interest and took particular care to keep us informed at all stages of the sale. We happily renewed the sales agreement with Drew Lindsay on two occasions.
