Port Germein is a small sea-side town located about 210 km north of Adelaide and about 19 km north of the city of Port Pirie on the eastern side of SA's Spencer Gulf overlooking Germein Bay. It has the longest wooden jetty in the southern hemisphere, reaching over 1.5km which is ideal for fishing and catching the famous Blue Swimmer crabs. Port Germein is also the perfect base for exploring the Southern Flinders Ranges.
If you are not into fishing there are many other options, including community markets, lawn bowls, walking or riding horses on the beach, kyaking, hiking in the Ranges, or simply relaxing with a cup of tea or glass of wine in the local pub.
The shack is on a good size block of approx. 1,012sqm, and it is within walking distance to the beach and jetty. It is fully fenced, has a 6.5 x 5.7 sqm shed with concrete floor, and new garden shed.
There are two bedrooms, one living/dining room, kitchen equipped with electric cooker/oven and storage cabinets. The bathroom has a shower, hand basin and toilet. A split system in the living room provides heating and cooling. The large backyard provides enough space for children and pets to play.
