We had a number of agents view and value our property at Rye. We initially chose them randomly without any idea of their knowledge or success in the area. All agents responded and met us to discuss the selling strategy and value the property. For us it was not only getting a realistic appraisal and acceptable fee structure. It was about trust! And from our past real estate agent experiences, there hadn't been much of that. Sam explained the process, what Grangers would offer and what they would charge, but most importantly how he thought we should go to market. He didn't push auctioning the property, and he talked us away from styling the house and instead offered a photo shop option that would have the same impact but for far less cost. Sam's valuation wasn't the highest, but we felt it was the most realistic. The property went to market and sold in 5 days.
