About Joe

It’s been 25 years since Joe commenced his career in Real Estate. In 1994, Joe joined North Geelong Real Estate in a part-time role while still at high school. He continued to work part-time while completing his Bachelor of Commerce Degree at Deakin University, majoring in Marketing and Management. Joe went on to complete his full Agents License and in 2002 competed in the Novice Auctioneers competition, winning the Geelong & Western Region but being piped in the Victorian State Final. In 2005 Joe became a Director of North Geelong Real Estate and played an integral role in joining the Harcourts group. Since then, the business has grown to a team of 30 strong and has expanded into Commercial and Owners Corporation Management. Joe is married to Rose and has three gorgeous daughters, Evie, Maia and Gigi. Joe lives locally, still plays basketball and loves to support the local community, becoming a popular auctioneer for Geelong charity groups. Always up to date, knowledgeable and accommodating, Joe has achieved great success in his real estate career, but finds no greater joy than in creating success for his clients.

Our business was born in 1991, during the “recession we had to have”. Our founder, Mario Grgic purchased a closing real estate office, which he renamed North Geelong Real Estate. Mario was an immigrant to Australia, arriving in 1965 and beginning a real estate career in 1975. Mario’s wife Marie, and daughter Helena helped with reception and book keeping duties at the office in the early days.
