Grant Baker
As a recent client of Grant Baker of One Agency in the purchase of a property in Noosaville, I offered to write a recommendation due to the outstanding service afforded to us. I might begin by stating that we have had many experiences with Real Estate Agents in twenty different moves and purchases over our lifetime but Grant Baker was worth more than all of the other agents combined. He offered us complete attention and listened to our requirements. He allowed us to express our needs and treated us with the utmost of courtesy and respect. In his current portfolio, our purchase was not a huge one (at this stage) as we are ‘testing the Noosa experience’. This made no difference as Grant placed the human consideration above our bank balance. He was efficient, displayed integrity and responded promptly to our many queries. At no stage did we feel coerced as with the ‘avaricious’ mentality of many of the other Noosa Agents who bombarded us – even after we had declined interest in various properties. He worked tirelessly to reach an agreement – fair to both parties which is always the best place to negotiate to in this type of purchase. We were more than content with the outcome. Selling a property has a different set of expectations and outcomes obviously to purchasing one. The reasons which motivate people are all different and need to be accommodated. For us, it is important that the ambience of a property remains intact and unsullied by a lack of decency and professionalism because the memory of the way a transaction occurs is so important. Our experience was exemplary. So, this is why good people need to be applauded. Today’s world is one which is ‘self-absorbed’, where money is the goal for many and old-fashioned decent relationships in business are not always forthcoming. For us, the measure of a good transaction is in the behaviour of those with whom we have dealt. Grant Baker was definitely supreme.
