The man behind the scenes that was critical for our successful sale

Josh's colleague, Michael Poynting, was recommended by a friend who had used him. When we met Michael he brought Josh along and we liked him straight away. Josh is pleasant and understated and gets the work done. He was not the front man for our sale but we could not have done it without him. When we met Michael and Josh our house was in disarray with too much stuff for the two us with our adult children and 2 large dogs and a cat after being in our house for over 25 years. Unlike the other agent we met with, Michael and Josh were prepared to take responsibility for getting quotes from tradesmen and then coordinating all the work to prepare the house for sale. We gave them the keys and walked away. We had already purchased a home that was over an hour from Sydney and we would have struggled to organise this project ourselves. They did a fabulous job and our house looked so much more presentable than before, with a lovely paint job throughout, polished floorboards and lots of minor maintenance jobs fixed. This all happened while we settled into our new home far away. Other agents had offered to help us get quotes but only Michael and Josh offered to take full responsibility for the project management and only consult us when decisions needed to be made. When the house went on sale there was a lot of interest and Harris Tripp negotiated a good price for us prior to auction with a couple who agreed to a short settlement. From the day we moved out and left a neglected house behind us, to the day we settled and paid off our bridging finance was exactly 10 weeks.
