I would like to express my sincere appreciation for Harris Tripp, for making the sale of my property at Flourmill of Summer Hill a seamless experience. For anyone considering selling their property, I highly recommend reaching out to Michael Poynting, the Associate Director at Harris Tripp. He can provide you with an appraisal and address any specific concerns you may have. Initially, I was unsure if selling a property with tenants in place was possible, but Michael reassured me it could be done. He explained that I could provide the tenants with just two weeks’ notice of intent to sell, allowing them to continue residing in the property while it was on the market. After speaking with Michael and feeling reassured, I signed an Exclusive Agency Agreement with him on 8 August 2025. He was clear about each step he would take to assist with the sale, and followed through on every commitment. Michael arranged for a floor plan and professional photographs, creating a preview link for the property. When I received the link, I was amazed by how beautiful my house appeared, and I became confident the property would sell quickly. A day before the premarket viewing on Saturday, 23 August, Michael sent an email invitation to his database, resulting in 10 groups attending and 3 contracts being issued on the day. This was an excellent turnout given the short notice. By Monday, 25 August, my property was sold to the highest bidder. Even though I was living in London, I was able to communicate with Michael easily via WhatsApp and email—demonstrating that anyone can manage a sale, regardless of where they are located. I sold this property in memory of my late husband John, as it was his idea to purchase it.
