Extremely Disappointing Experience – Future Tenants Beware My experience with Horsham Real Estate was extremely disappointing from the beginning of my tenancy until the final inspection. When I first moved into the property, it was not properly cleaned or maintained. The upstairs toilet was in particularly poor condition, and the kitchen dishwasher and stove burners also required attention. I reported these issues to the agency, but my concerns were largely ignored. As someone who was new to Australia at the time, finding rental accommodation was already challenging. Unfortunately, the experience with this agency made the situation even more stressful. Communication was another major concern. Responses to maintenance requests and complaints often took several days or longer. I also found the handling of rental increases frustrating, particularly the timing of notifications, which left limited opportunity to consider other rental options. What disappointed me most was that, towards the end of my tenancy, issues I had previously reported were raised again, and I was expected to arrange additional cleaning and repairs. I even had to spend my own money addressing matters that I believe should have been resolved before I moved in. Throughout my tenancy, I tried to maintain the property responsibly and communicate my concerns appropriately. Unfortunately, I did not feel that the same level of responsibility or consideration was demonstrated by the agency. My advice to future tenants: Be extremely careful before renting through this agency. Take detailed photographs, document every existing issue, keep all communication in writing, and carefully check the property condition report. Overall, this was one of the most disappointing rental experiences I have had. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend Horsham Real Estate.
