Adaptive and Pragmatic - High Recommended

Our experience with Ian and his team at Hudson McHugh was simply great. Ian is extremely knowledge about the process, market especially having worked in different type of markets and geography, UK - very low growth market, Australia (through its peak and trough) and great negotiation skills. Specifically, - Ian is very open and doesn't shy away from have the difficult conversation of sale price expectation setting with myself (as most sellers, I value the property higher than the market, not ridiculously high though). - Ian is very adaptive and pragmatic - we did not have a high turn around for viewing in the first week so Ian was very proactive in suggesting options to increase the influx, I was prepared to go full guns blazing with marketing but Ian had better sense to keep it pragmatic. - Ian is not a transactional agent, he is in the business to build relations and harvest them. We were doing multiple transactions together (purchase, sale (with rent back as special condition) and knock-down rebuild). I was able to leverage not only Ian's knowledge about knock-down rebuild but also leverage his relations like Solicitors, Architects etc. If you want an agent who is willing to listen to your needs, tailor the sales package to your needs yet provide pragmatic & stern advise as required with great negotiating skills then I would highly recommend Ian. Lastly, of course the price - compared to last year, Mascot fell down by about nearly 10% yet we were able to sell for 5% over the current market price, thanks to Ian.
