Strong buying support, mixed selling outcome

We both bought and sold through Darren and had a positive experience working with him. The purchase process with Darren was excellent—he leveraged his network to secure us a property that wasn’t even on the market and met our very specific criteria, which we really appreciated and likely wouldn’t have achieved without him. When it came to selling our own home, the market had shifted and the process became more nerve wracking. The initial strategy to go to auction didn’t deliver the result we had hoped for, and we ended up switching to a private treaty approach. While we weren’t entirely comfortable with the original direction, we trusted Darren’s experience and advice. In the end, the property sold in relatively good time, although at a lower price than we had initially discussed. Overall, Darren is experienced, well connected and committed to getting a positive outcome for sellers and buyers alike. While the sale process didn’t fully meet our expectations, we appreciated his effort and professionalism throughout.
