I have completely revised my opinion of real estate agents

I have been extremely impressed with the professionalism of Ruby and her colleague Elliot Gill from Jellis Craig. At every stage of the process - initial advice about timing, price and marketing strategy, execution of the marketing campaign and management of open house and the auction itself - their work went well above and beyond what I expected. For example, they advised spending slightly more on the social media aspects of the campaign, including video, which worked brilliantly. They employed outstanding professionals to do photography and video work. The property was one of the most 'liked' on the Domain website and Instagram, and triggered free editorial in Domain and the Herald Sun. I was always kept informed of buyer interest and the numbers coming through each open house, and was able to have a very good discussion with them in advance of the auction about possible outcomes. I felt absolutely confident at every point that I was being accurate advice. They also went to great trouble to help me with the practical aspects of organising open houses, such as cleaning and minor repairs. In the end, we got a great result at the auction, much better than I had dared to hope. I have completely revised my view of real estate agents - this is what true professionalism in this industry looks like. I would have no hesitation in recommending Ruby or Elliot to others.
