What's around 5/85 Westbury St

'The Birches' - deco desirability

One of only eight in 'The Birches', this beautiful upstairs apartment delivers an irresistible balance of art deco era elegance and evident modern quality. Living and dining areas that retain an ornate original ceiling and a fully functional open fireplace are complemented by pristine presentation and an adjoining kitchen featuring hardwood floorboards and the natural advantage of northern light. A luxuriously large main bedroom where leafy aspects are enjoyed through lead light windows is matched by the generous proportions of a second double bedroom accompanied by its own leafy perspective. The central bathroom's impressive size and immaculate style make an appealing contribution to a floor plan of significant character close to the shopping, trams and renowned cafes that make Carlisle Street such a magnetic attraction. Balaclava station and Alma Park are also conveniently close to this ideal address, with the added asset of an allocated lock up garage.

Very Helpful

Did not have a huge amount of contact with Aydan as we only saw the property the week before we bought it, however we found Aydan to be very friendly and very helpful with our queries. Would not have a problem dealing with Aydan in the future.

Would definitely use again

I wouldn't usually write reviews for sites like this, but I was actually genuinely pleased to have worked with Aydan -- unlike the stereotypical real estate agent, Aydan was easy to get along with, played straight at all times, offered good advice (including where not to bother spending money), and was professional. Very happy with how the apartment I sold was presented for auction; Jellis Craig promoted it well and the furniture stylist did a surprisingly good job (I usually hate rental furniture when inspecting a property; this wasn't the usual tacky stuff though -- it was appropriate and tasteful). Very pleased with how the campaign ran, and Aydan's role coordinating it; would definitely use him and Jellis Craig again, and as I say, I'm mostly writing this review because I was genuinely surprised that going to market could be a positive experience!!
