After a couple of disappointing real estate encounters in town I decided to call upon a local expert. Someone who would not only understand MY local area housing market, but someone who could walk onto my property and know exactly how much it was worth, understand just how much work and effort I had put over the years and reassure me that in their experienced hands (with a proven sales record), my house would not only be desirable, but would sell quickly and fetch a great price. I am so glad I called Amy from Jess Jones Real Estate. She came within an hour of returning my call. It was Friday and after 4pm. It was stormy weather and when she spoke to me it was like talking to a knowledgeable old friend. When she walked in my house she knew the possibilities and I immediately felt the best agent had just walked in my door. She even knew the Dulux colour on my walls! Her enthusiasm was delightfully infectious but what really sold me was her proven sales record in my immediate area and the fact that she didn't need to "go away and research" to give me an estimate and a plan. She knew what my property was worth that very night and she was right!! I was given the reality and possibilities and the experience taught me a lot. Amy is a personable professional and I always felt comfortable and at ease when dealing with her. This was very important to me as I had felt differently when dealing with some 4 agents before her, 2 of which didn't think my property was worth much. Amy was accurate in her assessment and always offered to help when sourcing tradesmen to repair and maintain. She has a long list of contacts whi h are handy. She had a long list of clients and contacted them before we went to market so I had people bidding for my property before open house! Her advertising description was amazing, the photography was amazing, her direction and skill was amazing and because of Amy we made $50K more than we thought we'd get for our house!
