A fantastic marketing campaign resulting in an outstanding auction result

I first met David just before the start of the campaign. I took David through the property to point out significant improvements, some of which would not be obvious to potential purchasers. David was totally engaged during the walk through and immediately appreciated the detail and significance of the work we had done. It's not common for people to engage in the way David did, and it left me feeling that this was going to be a good relationship. David and his team ran what I thought was a great campaign. Encouraging us to Style the property (so glad we did), the extra table and chairs to fill a space at no extra cost (thanks Natasha), the nicely presented Fact Sheet, the stunning photo on the advertising board and the comprehensive briefings after each open for inspection. David and his team, through their energy and enthusiasm, gave us the confidence that we were in safe hands and the outcome would be good. On the day before the auction we attended a pre-auction briefing with David and the team at Kelly's agency. We both felt that this meeting gave us a good understanding of how events would unfold and how the auction would be conducted. The fact that David not only ran the campaign, but was the auctioneer was a big advantage. It meant that David had an intimate knowledge of the property which he was in a position to convey during the auction. Compare that to a contract auctioneer with a short briefing prior to auction. We didn't attend the auction (too stressful) but it was a great result. I noticed that when my wife was shaking David's hand she was holding back tears, says it all really. Many thanks to David and his team, we are very grateful.
