I first met Sharon Doherty from L.J.Hooker Bowral when she was acting for one of my neighbours. From the moment I met Sharon I found her to have a sound understanding of the local real estate market. Sharon was able to provide me with examples of recent sales in the district and explain the different marketing strategies which might better suit my situation. I was also able to negotiate a sales commission with her which was much better than that offered by other agencies. Sharon assisted me with styling my property to make it more attractive to potential buyers and recommended the best times to conduct Open Houses based on the location of my property. I must admit, after ten weeks with no serious offers on the property I became a little concerned, thinking perhaps I should lower the sale price. I discussed my concerns with Sharon who explained the current trends and property movements in the area and she convinced me to be patient, NOT lower my asking price and “stick” to the plan.
